Pakistan has announced a 14-man squad for the first test against West Indies which will be Asia’s First Day-Night match to be played with a pink ball starting in Dubai next week. Babar Azam, who made history by scoring three consecutive centuries in the ODI series, has been named in the squad.
Muhammad Hafeez and Shan Masood were dropped for the series. The other players in the squad included Misbahul Haq Captain , Sami Aslam, Azhar Ali, Sarfraz Ahmed, Asad Shafiq, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Khan, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Yasir Shah and Zulfiqat Babar.
Doctors have advised Younis Khan to take 10-day rest owing to his illness, adding that he will be back in the team once he recovers from his illness. The chief selector said, he hopes that Younis Khan will be available for the second test.
