General Rashad Mahmood, chairman joint chiefs of staff committee, who is on official visit to Indonesia, called on chief of Defence forces Indonesia General Gatot Nurmantyo. During the meeting, matters of bilateral interest, mutual cooperation, and geo-strategic situation came under discussion. They also discussed measures to enhance cooperation between the armed forces. The Indonesian general acknowledged the sacrifices of pakistan armed forces in fight against terrorism. Chief of general staff also called on coordinating minister for political, legal and security affairs of Indonesia general (retd) Wiranto. Earlier, upon arrival at headquarter Tentara Nasional Indonesia, cjcsc was presented the guard of honour.
