COAS Spends Eid With Troops In Bajaur Agency

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif offered Eid prayers with army and frontier corps troops in Bajaur Agency. Tribal elders also joined Chief of Army Staff for Eid prayers and spent time with him. Chief of Army Staff also reviewed the ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts as well as enforcement of border management along the afghan border. General Raheel Sharif commended the troops for their countless sacrifices and high morale while performing duties away from families on Eid. He urged the tribal elders to continue their support in order to bring prosperity in the tribal areas. Chief of Army Staff reiterated the resolve that army will not leave until the peace is fully restored and administrative control of the area is transferred to institutionalized mechanism.
