Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said the industrial productivity has increased by record 3.21 percent and the government has also taken various steps to promote exports. Chairing a meeting on financial and economic policies, all economic indicators are showing positive trajectory. Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Governor State Bank, Secretary Finance and other officials attended the meeting. The Secretary Finance briefed the meeting about national economic situation. He further briefed that the inflation rate will remain below six percent in the current fiscal year. Later, the governor state bank briefed the meeting on state bank’s performance.
