PIA has been overhauling Pratt and Whitney engines of its ATRS as per overhaul protocol revision 32. Pratt and Whitney have recently issued new revisions 33 and 34 which PIA has been advised to comply with immediate effect. As passenger safety is PIA’S top priority the mentioned aircraft will not be available during the next few days. During this period PIA’S flights to Gilgit, Skardu, Chitral, Sukkur, Moenjodaro, Gwadar, Turbat, Panjgur, Nawabshah and Multan are likely to be affected.
