One More Civilian Falls Victim To Indian State Terrorism

One more civilian has fallen victim to the ceaseless brutalities unleashed by Indian forces in the Kashmir valley, raising the death toll to 92 on the 62nd day of the ongoing Kashmir intifada. The elderly victim, Abdul Ghani Wani, died after he suffered a cardiac arrest due to shelling of tear smoke canisters by Indian troops at Chawalgam in Kulgam district. His death led to severe clashes between protesters and Indian forces in the area. A school was burnt to ashes after tear smoke shell burst inside the school building. Undeclared curfew and restrictions marked by shutdown continued all across the territory, today. Meanwhile, thousands of people raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans and waving Pakistani flags, today, participated in a rally at Kumdalan in Shopian district. Forceful anti-India protests were held in almost all small and major towns of the valley including Srinagar. Many people were injured when the personnel of Indian forces used force on protesters at various places. Three Indian troops were critically injured after an army convoy was attacked by unknown gunmen in Kralgund area of Kupwara district.
