Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Wednesday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting discussed financing matters related to capacity building for effective Pak-Afghan border management including raising of fresh 29 Civil Armed Forces wings.
Pakistan shares a nearly 2,600 kilometer-long border with Afghanistan. The authorities started building a barrier at the border crossing to stop militants crossing over from Afghanistan.
