France’s Sebastien Ogier maintained his lead in the Corsica Rally on Saturday after Britain’s Kris Meeke crashed out in stage six.
However the Brit crashed out just 400m into stage six, hitting a tree and was forced to retire his Citroen DS 3.
Ogier went on to win that stage and the next to give himself a commanding 59.5 second lead, only to see Belgium’s Thierry Neuville take victory in stage eight and cut the lead to 46.5 seconds.
