Hong Kong Stocks Rally By Lunch

Hong Kong stocks rallied by the break today as traders cheered Hillary Clinton’s performance during the US presidential debate. The Hang Seng index jumped 1.1 percent to 23,574.49 points. The benchmark Shanghai composite index lost 0.15 percent to 2,975.92 points, while the Shenzhen composite index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, gave up 0.31 percent to 1,960.44 points
