Kraigg Brathwaite and Shane Dowrich struck unbeaten half-centuries to guide West Indies to their first Test victory in last 14 matches Opener Brathwaite, who scored an unbeaten 142 in the first innings and Dowrich each scored 60 adding 87 for the sixth wicket to take their side to victory.
West Indies, set 153 to win, reached their target before lunch when Dowrich struck Mohammad Amir for four to reach 154 for 5.
For Pakistan, leg-spinner Yasir Shah claimed figures of 3 for 40 in the second innings while paceman Wahab Riaz who took a five-wicket haul in the first innings, added two more wickets to his tally.
West Indies opener Brathwaite was awarded man of the match while Yasir Shah clinched man of the series award for picking up 21 wickets. Pakistan clinched the three-match series 2-1.
