Pakistan-West Indies 3rd Test Begins From Tomorrow

The third and final cricket test between Pakistan and West Indies begins from tomorrow in sharjah.

Pakistan have already won the series, after taking a 2-nil lead with their victory in abu dhabi, but the final test in sharjah presents them with an opportunity to set some benchmarks. No team has ever won all nine matches of a tour in cricket history.

It is statistic that pakistan has in mind as it aims to sweep its test series against the visiting west indies.

Pakistan won all three twenty20 internationals against the icc world t20 2016 champion, as well as the three one-day internationals that preceded the tests.

Misbah-ul-haq is also set to lead pakistan for the 49th time in tests, and pass imran khan as the country’s most-capped captain. Misbah hinted at changes in pakistan’s xi and it is understood that left-arm spinner zulfiqar babar may make way for an extra fast bowler. Sohail khan may also miss the game to give a younger quick a chance.

West indies wicketkeeper shane dowrich was declared fit and is likely to return to the final eleven.

With pakistan set to play two tests in new zealand starting november 17, and three tests in australia, it will be keen to maintain momentum.
