Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced a gas project worth 3.9 billion rupees for Kohat. Addressing a public gathering in Kohat, Prime Minister Minister said the district will see prosperity as several union councils will be provided with gas under the project.
Prime minister also announced the project to connect Kohat, Pindi Ghep and Jhand with motorway and train service to connect Kohat with Rawalpindi. He emphasized the need for better medical facilities for the poor and announced a state-of-the-art hospital in Kohat city.
Among other projects, prime minister also announced to set up Kohat university women campus. Nawaz Sharif said his opponents are creating hurdles in the way of development and noted that opposition parties will face defeat as people will vote for PML-N in the 2018 general elections. The Prime Minister said his party will change the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by launching development projects.
He said the load-shedding will be eliminated from the country by 2018. Prime Minister said international organizations have acknowledged Pakistan’s journey towards prosperity as a result of government policies.
Nawaz Sharif paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of security personnel and noted that terror attacks have significantly reduced in the last three years. He thanked the people of Kohat who turned out in large number at the public gathering and said the huge crowd is the evidence of peoples’ trust in the PML-N.
Earlier the Prime Minister inaugurated the Gas supply projects. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Federal Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Abbas Khan Afridi who joined the Pml-N.
