Talking to the leadership of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan (JUP), he appreciated the role of the JUP for strengthening democracy in the country.
He urged the JUP leaders to play their positive role in this national political issue.
JUP President Pir Ijaz Hashmi and secretary general Awais Norani said that any attempt to damage the democratic process would not succeed.
They said that respect of the court was the responsibility of every citizen, adding that democracy should be allowed to prevail by following the Constitution.
