100th Day Amid Curfew in J&K

Normal life remains crippled for 100th day in Indian Occupied Kashmir as Indian authorities continue to impose curfew and restrictions in the aftermath of Burhan Wani’s Martyrdom.

Security and Police Personnel dressed in riot gear patrolled the deserted roads in Srinagar as residents chose to stay indoors. Schools, markets and offices remained shut.

Occupied Kashmir is in the midst of the worst unrest in six years that began after Indian security forces killed Hizbul Mujahideen, Commander Burhan Wani, Wani was idolized by youth in the valley and his killing provoked an outpouring of anger against Indian Occupation of Kashmir.

Indian Forces have killed more than 120 civilians and wounded thousands over the past three months.
