A Spanish Diplomatic Consular committed suicide at his residence in Islamabad this morning.
The incident took place in F-7/2 sector in the jurisdiction of Kohsar police station.
John Jenner was serving as a Spanish diplomatic consular, deployed in Spanish embassy and was residing alone in Islamabad.
According to police sources, a 38 bore pistol was also found beside his body and further investigations are underway. Spanish embassy has been informed about the incident.
The dead body was shifted to hospital for postmortem. John Jenner was living in Pakistan for the last 34 years.
