Over 12,000 people raced the streets of Lausanne leaving colored dust behind in Switzerland’s second color run. Most of the participants of the five-Kilometre race start the event wearing white and get progressively dirtier as they are doused with dye at checkpoint along the leman lakeside. The first color run took place in the United States in 2012 but since, they have been held in more than 40 countries from Argentina to Japan. This is the second time Lausanne hosts the event. In order to participate in Lausanne color run people had to pay between 40 and 50 dollars.
