Curfew, Shutdown Continue In Occupied Kashmir

Normal life remained crippled in Occupied Kashmir as curfew and shutdown continued for 79th day. According to local media reports, curfew was also imposed in Kishtwar town following clashes between protesters and police. Indian police personnel and soldiers dressed in riot gear patrolled deserted streets. Markets, schools and colleges remained shut. Meanwhile, the all parties Hurriyet Conference, while strongly condemning the killing of Wasim Ahmad Lone at Nadihal in Rafiabad area of Baramulla district on Saturday, has said that India is targeting Kashmiri youth in a planned way. The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the slain boy was working in paddy fields, when Indian forces without any provocation killed him.
