Migrant Crisis Is Europe’s Top Priority : EU President

European Union President Donald tusk told the international community that the eu is driven by “empathy the readiness to offer help to those in need” and that assisting refugees remains his top priority. Speaking at the United Nations general assembly, he said that he hoped other countries would follow suit. Some 1.3 million migrants reached Europe’s shores last year from countries like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. He also said that the E.U. Is concerned with wars in the Middle East and Africa as well as nuclear threats and territorial disputes in Asia.
