Sindh Govt decides to audit pelts collecting organizations

Sindh Apex Committee has decided to do audit of the pelts collecting organizations.

According to the details Sindh Apex Committee meeting held on Thursday chaired by Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali Shah. Law Advisor Murtaza Wahab, Information Advisor Maula Bux Chandio, Chief Secretary Sindh, Inspector General (IG) Sindh and other officers were present in the meeting.

Implementation of 11 points of National Action Plan (NAP) in Sindh was discussed in the meeting. Chief Secretary Sindh briefed about the establishment of anti-terrorism courts, appointments of judges and prosecutors. Sindh has completed the registration of 8855 seminaries in the province, whereas registration of the remaining 1178 seminaries in the province was continued, chief secretary told.

CM Sindh was told in the meeting that government has sent 105 cases to the Military Courts out of which 59 cases were approved for hearing. Murad Ali Shah also approved establishment Forensic Lab.

Shah will brief details about all the decisions in Sindh Apex Committee meeting before Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in the meeting regarding National Action Plan in Islamabad on Friday.

Talking to the media after the meeting Sindh Information Advisor Maula Bux Chandio told that Apex Committee has reviewed law and order situation in the province. Chandio told that the govt has decided to do audit of the organisations that were collecting pelts of the sacrificial animals on Eid-ul-Azha.
