Two More Youth Killed, Dozens Wounded In IOK

Two more youth were martyred and hundreds others injured as Indian forces use force against protesters in different areas of the Kashmir valley, taking the death toll in the ongoing uprising to 95. Thousands of people took to the streets in Srinagar, Badgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Baramulla, Handwara, Sopore, Bandipora, Islamabad, Qazigund and other areas and held forceful demonstrations against the civilian killings in the valley. A youth, Sayar Ahmad Sheikh, was killed after he was hit in the head by a teargas shell fired by the forces’ personnel in Tukroo area of Shopian. Another youth identified as Yawar Ahmad was killed after Indian troops pumped pellets into his chest at Batengoo in Islamabad district.
