Sindh rangers have launched an operation against the miscreants that attacked different media houses in Karachi and created unrest in the city. According to spokesman, rangers raided the headquarters of Mutahida Qaumi movement nine zero and cordoned off the adjoining streets. Ranger’s team also included female staff. The rangers have sealed the MQM headquarter nine zero and confiscated important documents. Rangers has also conducted operation in Johar town and Shah Faisal colony and searched Khurshid begum hall. Rangers have detained some MQM leaders including Dr Farooq Sattar and Khawaja Izhar. Both the leaders were detained from karachi press club. Sector offices of MQM in Karachi, Hyderabad and Tando Allahyar were also sealed. Director General of Sindh rangers, major general Bilal Akbar, has said lawbreakers will not be spared and issued directives to take action against the miscreants. DG rangers reaffirmed to provide security to the citizens and urged the public in Karachi to continue their business as per routine. He said no one will allow disrupting peace in Karachi.
