Pakistan has formally invited India to initiate meaningful dialogue on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. Foreign Seretary Aizaz Ahamad Chaudhry called in the Indian High Commissioner to the foreign office and handed over a letter addressed to his Indian counterpart, inviting him to visit Pakistan for the talks on Jammu and Kashmir dispute that has been the main bone of contention between the two countries. A press release issued by the Foreign Office says the letter highlights the international obligation of both the countries, to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, in accordance with the un security council resolutions.
