Curfew Continues In Occupied Kashmir

In Occupied Kashmir, Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that India is creating war-like situation along the line of control to divert world’s attention from the Kashmir dispute. In a statement, he said refusing to participate in SAARC forum, threatening the water blockade and isolating Pakistan at global level are the cunning mechanics of India to hoodwink the world community.

 

Syed Ali Gilani cautioned that lingering Kashmir dispute could ignite human disaster in South Asia. The illegally-detained APHC Secretary General, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement urged un and international community to intervene and settle the dispute to avoid any nuclear war between the two neighborly countries over the Kashmir dispute. APHC leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that India first staged Uri and then surgical-strike drama to deflect the international attention from the ground situation of the occupied territory.

 

The Hurriyet forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement termed the Indian aggression a ploy to divert international attention from the atrocities being perpetrated by Indian armed forces on the people of Kashmir. The Jammu Kashmir and liberation front described the ongoing arrest spree and nocturnal raids as a clear sign of frustration of the Indian authorities. Meanwhile, anti-India protest demonstrations and rallies marked by shutdown continued on the 87th consecutive day.

 

Despite curfew and other restrictions in the valley. Several people were injured when Indian forces’ personnel used brute force on protesters in Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Badgam, Ganderbal, Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Islamabad districts. Meanwhile, Three Indian troops were killed and several others injured in an attack in Baramulla town of Occupied Kashmir. The attack was on Indian army garrison of 46 Rashtriya rifles at Janbazpora area of Baramulla town.

 

The outpost of the camp is manned by the company of 40 battalion of border security force. The attackers escaped after leaving two border security force and one Rashtriya rifles personnel killed and many others injured till last reports came in. A major search operation has been launched in the area.

 

Indian army sealed the entire area and no movement was permitted. The senior superintendent of police Baramulla told media men that a group of militants tried to storm 46 Rashtriya rifles camp of army at Janbazpora in Baramulla district and killed one BSF man and injuring another.
