Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today (Friday).
Matters pertaining to internal and regional security were discussed during the meeting.
Vowing to continue the war against militancy and terrorism, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction over security situation of the country.
The meeting comes a day after a news was aired regarding postponement of a meeting to review National Action Plan (NAP) due to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif‘s visit to the United States.
