Pakistan’s Haider Ali shines at Paralympics

The 32-year-old all-rounder athlete won the Bronze medal at the men’s long jump category, making the win Pakistan’s first this year.

This is the second time Ali has brought home a win, the last time being at the Paralympic Games held in Beijing, China in 2008, where the athlete won the silver medal.

Haider, who sufferes from Cerebral Palsy, had covered a record distance of 6.44 metres at the China 2008 Games
