In Occupied Kashmir There Is No Letup In Curfew

In Occupied Kashmir there is no letup in curfew and other restrictions on the 44th consecutive day, at least 80 people including women have been injured by bullets and pellets fired by Indian troops on peaceful protesters in the territory. Massive pro-freedom rallies continued throughout South Kashmir. Meanwhile APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani, and other Hurriyet leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik have asked the members of so-called Kashmir assembly and council to resign from their present positions and join the Kashmir Intifada. The Hurriyet leaders in a joint statement, addressed to MLAs, MLCs and members of pro-India parties said, “India has once again unleashed its war machine to kill, maim and disfigure us intently to terrorize and suppress the entire population into complete submission.
