Over a domestic dispute, a man shot dead four members of his wife’s family near Multan.
According to police, the accused Tahir Mehmood went to his in-laws to conciliate his angry wife. But due to failure in persuading his spouse, the disheartened man opened fire on family members.
Officials said the man killed his father-in-law, mother-in-law, wife and sons of his brother-in-law on the spot. He managed to flee from the scene.
Police shifted bodies of the victims to civil hospital for medico-legal formalities. Further investigations were underway.
